The last Industry Project ended last friday. The last team project also and I had the amazing pleasure of working with Niels for two weeks. The truth is that we don’t really agree with each other at first but we always get to a good outcome in the end! We learn, talk, sing and have fun. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like work. And after two weeks of being literally sick and tired we did a great job at a very good pace.
We also had the opportunity to work with John Lynch and David Gauthier as our advisors and coaches. I chose this team because I wanted to work with John and it seriously paid off. He has a precious work ethic and management, it was delightful to see him working.
And now I finally feel the end of this year coming closer. I felt it before in a more nostalgic way when I had to pack half of my stuff to take home. Now it’s different. I’m excited. I want to work on the final project and experiment. And I want to take advantage of these last 6 weeks. January is full of opportunities that I can’t wait to put my hands on.
I had the pleasure to be kindly invited to do a short presentation yesterday at the Republikken. The event was called Bits & Beers and the theme was Laser Cutting. I was “presenting a series of laser cutting projects, exploring materiality and experience from the girl who hugs the laser cutter.”
I’ll share the slides soon!
